Physical activity plays an important role in improving the health of those who have specific health conditions such as: By working closely with members of the healthcare community such as physicians, physical therapists, neurologists, nutritionists, chiropractors etc., your personal trainer will be able to understand your conditions, limitations and/or special needs that are necessary to take into consideration when creating a safe and effective exercise program. Your personal trainer can not replace your medical practitioner or physical therapist, but they can work closely with you according to specific guidelines or instructions given by your healthcare provider. These precautions taken are incorporated during program design to ensure your safety and to make sure your progress is not hindered. |
